NCHGS is traveling to Celtic Classic in Bethlehem this September! Join Gil Greene for a lesson in Genealogy 101. Learn how to find great-grandma, weird Uncle Harry, and the horse thief your cousin keeps telling you about. Mr. Greene will discuss the many on-line resources plus local, county, state and federal records, wills, census, military, immigration, and land records. He will also provide website addresses and research locations that will get you started on the path of your family history.

Background for Gilbert “Gil” Greene

Mr. Greene has been active in genealogical research for 40 years, professionally for over fifeen years. He has been an Adjunct Professor for Genealogy, Northampton County (PA) Community College, since 2001 and Community Class Instructor at Warren County Community College (NJ),since 2001. He has presented to a wide variety of local libraries, historical societies, senior homes, and many area venues.
Gil is President and Founder of the Delaware & Lehigh Valleys Genealogy Club, Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ.
He is the author of five major family genealogy/family histories, many individual family research projects and several magazine articles.
