We’re celebrating the opening of The Cat’s Meow: Lehigh Valley in the Age of Art Deco & the Roaring Twenties by partnering with Taste of Easton Tour Company for an evening of culinary adventure.
Hop on board Taste of Easton’s Roaring Twenties Food Tour and journey back to the days when Easton was buzzing with Prohibition speakeasies, bawdy houses, and gambling dens. You’ll stop at three NCHGS sites to taste 20s-inspired fare and drinks from some of the area’s best restaurants, breweries, distillers, and wineries. Visit the 1753 Bachmann Publick House for bite-sized savories and craft beer; visit the Sigal Museum for cocktails and Mediterranean dishes inspired by the Egyptomania craze, and finish your evening at the Mixsell-Illick House with decadent desserts and wine.
For more information and to purchase tickets, contact Taste of Easton at 610-829-6070 or visit their Tours page.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit NCHGS collections and programs.
