Roaring Twenties Tasting Tour with Taste of Easton Tour Company, September 9, 2017, 6:00-9:00 pm

We’re celebrating the opening of The Cat’s Meow: Lehigh Valley in the Age of Art Deco & the Roaring Twenties by partnering with Taste of Easton Tour Company for an evening of culinary adventure.

Hop on board Taste of Easton’s Roaring Twenties Food Tour and journey back to the days when Easton was buzzing with Prohibition speakeasies, bawdy houses, and gambling dens. You’ll stop at three NCHGS sites to taste 20s-inspired fare and drinks from some of the area’s best restaurants, breweries, distillers, and wineries. Your tour will start at the Sigal Museum with cocktails and Mediterranean dishes inspired by the Egyptomania craze and a tour of our new exhibition. Climb on the Prohibition tour bus and head to the 1753 Bachmann Publick House for bite-sized savories and craft beer. Cruise down some of Easton’s most notorious streets and learn about what life was like back in the day. Then end your evening at the Mixsell-Illick House with decadent desserts and wine.
