The Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society has many ways that you can announce to customers and employees that you and your business support the community, its cultural venues, and its educational opportunities. Our organizational, small business, and corporate neighbors support programs through sponsorship of our prominent Lehigh Valley annual events, enabling educational opportunities through participation in the E.I.T.C. Program, by encouraging employee volunteerism, by leading our museums' capital campaigns, and by supporting general operations through membership.
The Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society is grateful for support of the Mixsell House Museum and Textile Research Center through a grant from the Louise Moore Pine & Roswell Dean Pine Fund of the Lehigh Valley Community foundation.
Adopt An Artifact
An important part of the Society's mission is to preserve the past. One of the ways we preserve the past is by continually cleaning, fixing, properly storing, and maintaining artifacts within the collection; but we can't do it alone! We need your help to ensure these important pieces of history are preserved for many generations to come.
The Society has well over 30,000 objects and archival materials. A majority of these materials are in good to excellent shape, but some artifacts are not so lucky. Our Adopt an Artifact program supports objects, textiles, and archives within the collection to get them ready for exhibition. Sponsorships also go toward the costs related to exhibition. The Adopt an Artifact program is completely tax deductible.

All adopters receive an Adoption Certificate, Photo and Description of the artifact, and Recognition on social media.
