Tea with Victoria (SOLD OUT), Mixsell-Illick House, May 13, 2017, 1:00 pm

NOTE: This event is sold out. If you would like to be notified when we announce the date of our next tea, please call 610-253-1222 to be put on our mailing list.

Just in time for Mother’s Day!

You are invited to a proper British Cream Tea at the 1833 Mixsell-Illick House. Unlike the more formal afternoon tea, this informal gathering with its pot of hot tea, scones, Devon cream, jam, and lemon curd is the mainstay of daily life in the British Isles.

Join us for a delightful afternoon of food and conversation in our Victorian double parlor. Hostess and costumed interpreter Kathleen Coddington will give a brief history of tea and share little-known facts and intimate stories about Queen Victoria and her family.

Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Sigal Museum or via phone. Please contact Carey Birgel at c.birgel@northamptonctymuseum.org or 610-253-1222 for reservations.

Tickets are $15 per person.
