Join us for a walking tour of the hideouts and safe havens of organized crime, vice, and illegal indulgences of the Prohibition Era! Based on newspaper accounts, first-person interviews, and photos and documents from the NCHGS archives, join us to visit the sites of some of the most notorious brothels, breweries, and back-alley speakeasies in Easton’s unforgettable history.

Do you dare take a tour relating tales of murder, mischief, and misadventure in the Downtown Easton Historic District? From the time of its founding in 1752, Easton’s history is filled with dark tales of suspicious disappearances, strange coincidences, and disastrous journeys. This tour features stories based based on primary documents, photographs, interviews, and other secondary sources from the Jane S. Moyer Library & Archives.
