Did Prohibition Prohibit Cider? Talk and Tasting, October 7, 2017, 1:00 pm

Hard cider was America’s most popular drink for almost 400 years. Prohibition is often blamed for abruptly ending American cider, yet it didn’t change our taste for beer, wine, or spirits. Come find out how Prohibition did and did not change cider making in America.
Mark Turdo, curator at the Museum of the American Revolution, will discuss his latest research and offer sample tastings of period cider recipes.
Program is free with museum admission or $5 for program only.
