Learn the origins of Ellis Island and what it was like to operate and experience this entry point to America. This presentation will be a combination of oral history and video that depicts how Ellis Island functioned during its 62 years of operation.

About our lecturer
Patrick McIvor, Sr. is a resident of the over-55 community “The Highlands of Glenmoor” in Palmer Township. They have an active History Club there of which he is a committee member and speaker.

He is a seasoned presenter having had many years of public speaking in industry. Patrick is a retired marketing executive who spent 15 years with Johnson & Johnson, then 30 years as director of his own national advertising agency.
