Celebrate the release of the highly anticipated fourth title in the I Knew George Washington Series with local author Jeff Finegan!
Jeff will give a short presentation on the series and the new release, My Dear Grandpapa: The Fascinating Story of a Young Woman and Her Step-Grandfather, George Washington. The presentation will be followed by conversation, Q&A, and book signing.
This program is free to the public and will be held in the John. R. Austen Auditorium at the Sigal Museum. Masks are highly encouraged.
About the Series
The I knew George Washington Series is a unique collection of stories on the “father of his country” as told from the perspective of historic figures who were closely associated with him.
Selected to narrate each book are individuals who, based on their interaction with George Washington, came from distinctly varied walks of life. Together with Washington, they are not only witnesses to his failure and success, but to the most incredible events in world history.
About the Author
A collector of George Washington manuscripts, Jeffrey E. Finegan Sr. is a 1982 graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast communication. His interest in history spans from the Norman Conquest of England to World War Two with a concentration in George Washington, the American Civil War and early architecture.
