In 1855, Connecticut woman Lucretia Bradley Hubbell journeyed to Easton and became the first woman to make a solo balloon flight! But as the balloon rose into the sky, the crowd was aghast as it exploded in front of their eyes, and many began to suspect that Lucretia made it explode on purpose…
