Easton Book Festival at the Sigal Museum

NCHGS is excited to once again partner with the Easton Book Festival for over a week of educational programming!

Easton Book Festival’s mission is to inform, educate, enrich and inspire people of all backgrounds in our community through cultural and literary programs and to otherwise foster intellectual discourse and civic engagement.

The Sigal Museum will host the following panels, gallery talks, and author discussions:

October 21

  • Gallery Talk: Easton Nights with Peter Ydeen (6:00-6:30 PM)

October 22

  • Panel Discussion: Banned Books with Easton Book Festival Board Members and Eileen O’ Brennan (2:00-3:00 PM)
  • Cindy Williams Newsome: Chasing Baseball for Life and Other Adventures (3:00-4:00 PM)

October 23

  • Panel Discussion: Why Antisemitism? Lafayette College Students Reflect on the Writings of Dara Horn (2:00-3:00 PM)

October 28

  • Author Speak: Haunted Lehigh Valley with Dr. Katherine Ramsland (6:00-8:00 PM)

October 29

  • Panel Discussion: Path Lit by Lightning: The Life of Jim Thorpe (1:00-2:30 PM)
  • Panel Discussion: Trials of Mumia Abu Jamal, moderated by Melba Tolliver (3:00-4:30 PM)
