May 13: Map Making-

Maps help us navigate our world and find our place in our surroundings. Nowadays, we find our way around through the help of Google Maps and Waze – but what did we do before electronics?

Maps are a great way to learn about and understand history. They help us see what around us has changed, and what has stayed the same. Join us on May 13 to make your own map – of your neighborhood, for finding a hidden treasure, or whatever your choose!

Participants can pick up a Map Making Grab ‘n’ Go kit from the front desk and go to the Discovery Room or to a sidewalk table to draw their own maps. All supplies are included. All ages, children, and families are welcome.

Crafts will be ongoing from 1:00-3:00 PM. This program is walk-in and free with entrance to the museum. Trained volunteers will be on-site to facilitate.
