Virtual Heritage Day

July 12, 2020, 12:00 pm

History will come alive virtually this year for Easton’s annual Heritage Day celebration.

Tune in at noon on July 12 to see Robert Levers, the Chair of the Committee of Safety and Northampton County’s representative to the Provincial Conference of Committees, give one of the first public readings of the Declaration of Independence. Stay for an afternoon of live music, history talks, and video demonstrations of blacksmithing, glassblowing and tinsmithing, songs and stories of canal days, and Easton trivia.

Be sure to keep an eye out for a special segment from NCHGS curator Brittany Merriam and education program coordinator Holly Houser.
