Historical Dinner Project – CANCELLED

March 19, 2020, 5:30 pm, Third Thursdays - Reservations taken between 5:30 and 7:30 pm

The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. This event has been cancelled due to the concern over the local spread of the coronavirus. We will update this information as soon as possible if we are able to reschedule. Those who have made reservations will be contacted soon.

We’re delighted to host Peter Wardle and his Historical Dinner Project for a series of Third Thursday dinners at our 1753 Bachmann Publick House.

March’s dinner will be a celebration of Women’s History Month featuring multiple dishes based upon recipes from influential female chefs, cooks, and restaurateurs of the past two hundred years. The list includes Abby Fisher, Julia Child, Alice Waters, Edna Lewis and Fannie Farmer.

The format will be a set menu (see below) with the bar offering cocktails, wines and beer. Enjoy a drink in the tavern room before you sit down and linger over dinner as long as you wish. Your seats are yours for the evening.
