September 4, 2019, 12:30-1:30 pm

Take a mid-day break, bring a brown bag lunch, and learn something new with our Lunch & Learn series. Lunch & Learn programs will be held the first Wednesday of the month from 12:30-1:30 pm. Visit the Sigal Museum for an informal talk, workshop, or discussion.

This month’s topic: History of the Early Industrial Revolution in the Lehigh Valley with emphasis on Northampton County’s geologic contributions. Our ancestors arrived to the New World with the knowledge, faith, and hard-work ethic to use available geologic resources to make this region a world player in industrial development. We will introduce you to two little stones that started the industrial revolution and explore what happened next.
