2-3/4″ Buzz Saw/Whirligig Toy Noisemaker

The Buzz Saw, also commonly called the Buzzer or Whirligig, has been a popular noisemaker in Europe and America at least since the 17th century.

Ours is made of wood; in the past, they have been made of bone, coins, buttons, stones, shells, and tin. Teeth were sometimes cut around the outside of the circle, resembling a circular saw blade.
